Jess is currently the Deputy Group Tax Director at Phoenix Group. She reports to the Group Tax Director and is responsible for the direct tax compliance and financial reporting across the Phoenix Group as well as leading the provision of advice on life assurance matters.
Jess has spent all her career in insurance tax, primarily as a professional advisor working across the compliance, audit and advisory aspects of corporate insurance tax, including M&A and reinsurance.
Jess is responsible for the tax implications of IFRS 17 across the group and implementation from a tax perspective. She has led the Phoenix input into consultation responses and engagement with HMRC.
