Tom is a Partner at Deloitte specialising in indirect tax within the insurance market – having been with the business for over 15 years. Tom specialises in VAT/IPT advisory work and regularly advises on issues such as partial exemption, Brexit and the treatment of cross-border services/establishments. He is also regularly involved in supporting on significant M&A activity within the industry.
Tom regularly advises a number of the largest insurers, brokers and outsourced providers within the insurance industry – both in and outside the Lloyd’s ecosystem. In addition to the areas outlined above, Tom has been involved in a number of projects aimed at digitising indirect taxes across the insurance market.
