Following years of significant change in bodily injury compensation, this event at the ABI offices will provide an excellent opportunity to look forward and consider what we can expect from civil justice reform in the future – including the next personal injury discount rate review in England and Wales in 2024, and then beyond. We will consider the potential for a dual discount rate model, and other factors relevant to the setting of the rate such as tax, management expenses and investment portfolios. We will also consider potential changes to the road traffic accident medical reporting process and the future for low value personal injury claims, along with what changes we might be able to expect to legal costs and procedure.

Bookings will close at 17:00 on Tuesday 31st October 2023.
