Davies is the leading specialist professional services and technology business, serving insurance and highly regulated markets. As Vice President, Professional Education at Davies, Craig leads one of the largest providers of apprenticeships within the UK insurance industry.
Craig has over 15 years of experience in senior leadership roles across independent training providers, awarding organisations, and Further & Higher Education Colleges. Leading Davies Professional Education for 6 years, Craig has clear intent, to attract and develop diverse new talent for the sector and upskill existing talent to accelerate careers. Within this time, Craig has driven the growth in insurance and financial services apprentice numbers from 300 to over 1,800 today.
Craig also sits on the Education and Learning Committee at the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII). The Education & Learning Committee is a Committee of the CII’s Board and is responsible for ensuring the relevance, accessibility and quality of the CII’s learning and assessment products whilst maintaining processes which are transparent, fair to candidates and compliant with its regulators’ requirements. The Committee supports and advises Officers and the Executive Team, and is required to provide assurance, make recommendations and to escalate issues of concern to the CII Board.
