Maria is a Policy Adviser in the Long-Term Savings team. She is responsible for retirement market, social care, advice and guidance and collective defined contribution schemes.
She joined the ABI in 2021 from Dods Group, where she was a Principal Political Consultant advising insurers, banks and trade associations on the latest political and policy developments affecting the sector and more broadly, the business environment. Prior to joining Dods Group, she worked at the Embassy of Ireland in London, monitoring foreign policy, trade and finance related matters.
Maria holds a BSc in International Politics from City University and an MSc in European Political Economy from London School of Economics.
