Roger leads on ESG for insurance in the UK and Globally, coordinating with their global decarbonisation, nature and social teams to bring the right expertise to the insurance market and to focus this on the markets key challenges and opportunities - from the evolving non-financial reporting requirements to the emerging opportunities on the underwriting and investment side. As well as spending time discussing these issues with clients and on seminars / webinars, he’s also led a number of client programmes to implement ESG within their businesses, including in relation to the PRA’s climate change supervisory statement (SS3/19). His background is a qualified actuary by trade with nearly 30 years of experience in both Retail and London Market.
