Sue is the UK Financial Services Tax & Legal industry leader for Deloitte and has over 25 years’ of experience advising Financial Services businesses on tax compliance and advisory matters. Sue works with a range of financial services businesses including large, international and digital banks, non-bank lenders, insurers and investment management businesses advising across a broad range of commercial matters including M&A, reorganisations and restructurings, funding, international expansion and tax compliance and reporting, supporting them in navigating the ever-changing tax landscape. Sue is also our Global Lead Tax Partner for a number of our Financial Services clients.
As UK FS Tax & Legal leader, Sue is focussed on ensuring we bring the best of our Tax & Legal business to the Financial Services marketplace and that our Tax & Legal services are embedded in the wider Deloitte Financial Services business.
Alongside her client work, Sue is passionate about making a difference through supporting the development of individuals, helping people to achieve their potential. Sue does this within Deloitte through mentoring and sponsorship and Sue sits on the FS Women in Leadership Executive, which is an initiative aimed at increasing gender and wider diversity at Deloitte as well as in the marketplace through external events. Sue is also an active participant in the Deloitte Client Transition Lab programme, which helps individuals maximise their impact and success as they move into new leadership roles, and has facilitated labs across a range of roles including CEO’s, CFO’s, Tax Directors and HRDs.
