A medical doctor by background, Avi is an accomplished healthcare technology leader currently serving as Associate Partner and Clinical Safety Officer for Healthcare & Life Sciences (Global) at IBM. He is also the Co-Founder of Doctorpreneurs, a pioneering global community for medical innovators.
With extensive experience in digital health supporting clients across 22 countries, Avi specializes in the responsible application of Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies in health and care. His previous roles include Global Clinical Adoption Leader at IBM Watson Health and Digital Health Clinical Lead at Bupa.
As a Fellow at the World Economic Forum, Avi contributes to Generative AI research, and he is a Digital Health Advisor and Guest Lecturer, both in the UK and internationally, Avi’s contributions to healthtech were recognized with the UK Asian Tech Pioneer Award (2022) by Diversity UK.
