Jamie Wilson comes from an Actuarial background, commencing his career in Consulting before transitioning in-house to undertake diverse leadership roles in Pricing, Data Science, and Data Engineering across Europe and the US. Throughout his professional journey, Jamie has been instrumental in driving multiple transformations, including developing democratised data landscapes, collaborating with insurtech companies to streamline underwriting processes, and establishing a market-leading predictive modelling function to revolutionise pricing strategies.
Passionate about promoting data-driven decision-making and harnessing technology to transform the Insurance landscape, Jamie serves as the Head of Pricing and Innovation at hyperexponential. In this role, his primary responsibilities include partnering with customers to facilitate the transformation of their pricing units and driving innovation in the market. Jamie graduated from Cambridge University with a degree in Mathematics and is a qualified General Insurance Actuary. Being a father of two, Jamie finds himself with slightly less time on his hands than he used to but when he’s not busy having fun with his family he will carve out time to go for a run, spend time in the garden or read the occasional stats book.
