Ms Kendall has been the MP for Leicester West since 2010 has been the Shadow Secretary of State since September 2023. She was previously a Shadow Minister for Health with responsibility for Social Care. Before becoming an MP. Liz was an adviser to the Labour government and also worked at the King’s Fund, the IPPR and the Ambulance Service Network where she had a series of roles focusing on public health, providing better health services and tackling health inequalities. Liz has a wealth of policy expertise and we look forward to hearing from her as part of our Annual Conference.
