Mark Shepherd is Assistant Director, Head of Property, Commercial & Specialist Lines within the Policy Directorate. Mark leads the UK insurance industry's policy on a range of cross-cutting General Insurance issues including commercial and domestic property insurance, cyber insurance, travel, trade credit and the ABI's work with the Lloyd's / London markets. Mark also co-ordinates the industry’s response to major incidents such as severe floods, storms or riots. Mark joined the ABI in February 2013 from Stratagem, a Northern Ireland-based public affairs company where he spent six years as a Public Affairs Consultant.
