Chris is the Privacy & Data Protection Officer at Direct Line Group. Having successfully guided the group through the implementation of GDPR, Chris offers independent oversight and challenge to data processing activities across all DLG business operations. He provides privacy advice and guidance on a diverse range of activities including exploring new data challenges posed by AI, telematics, data governance and ethical considerations.
Chris has extensive experience within the insurance industry and financial services, having previously immersed himself in privacy and compliance roles for Kroll, Royal Bank of Scotland and Heritable Bank. Chris holds the CIPM, CIPP/E and CIPP/US certifications.
