As Interim Director of Strategy and Risk at TPR and 'Richard is responsible for the development and embedding of TPRs Corporate Strategy as well as operation of the risk-based regulatory framework, providing the evidence base for the regulator’s strategy and policy interventions, and for analysing risks to achieving that strategy.
Richard Chairs TPRs senior forum for regulatory prioritisation (Gateway) and his responsibilities regarding TPRs Risk process range from chairing the TPR Risk Committee to being a member of the Advisory Technical Committee of the European Systemic Risk Board.
Richard began his career in Financial Services but has since held numerous roles in regulation including as an investigator specialising in criminal investigations to creating the intelligence function, responsible for embedding the intelligence-led proactive approach to regulation.
