Laura McAlpine is Head of UK Public Affairs at Zurich where she has worked for 9 years. She delivers against an external engagement strategy, providing insight and consultancy to the UK CEO and EXCO on policy developments and the political landscape. Laura also headed up UK Sustainability from 2020-23 and wrote the UK’s Sustainability Strategy in 2020.
With 20 years’ experience in policy and Public Affairs and sustainability, Laura has previously worked at RSA Insurance Group, the Money Advice and Pensions Service, Digital UK and in consultancy roles. She holds an MA in European Studies from King’s College London.
