Sheryl Fernando is to join the ABI in the newly created role of Director of Membership and Commercial Development. Sheryl will report to ABI Director General, Hannah Gurga, and takes up the role from late November.
Sheryl currently works at UK Finance where she has held the role of Director, Membership and Member Governance since 2017. Prior to joining UK Finance, Sheryl was Executive Director of Strategy International, a consultancy covering multiple industries including finance and technology.

As Director of Membership and Commercial Development, Sheryl will have overall responsibility for the ABI’s event, membership and commercial income and will be a member of the Executive Team.
