New appointments to the ABI Board

Amanda Blanc, Group CEO, Aviva; Clive Bolton, CEO, M&G Life Insurance; and Tara Foley, CEO, Axa UK & Ireland are to join the ABI Board with immediate effect. 

The ABI Board provides the strategic direction to the Association’s work, chaired by Baroness Nicky Morgan. The appointments replace previous ABI Board representatives for each of the firms. 

Baroness Nicky Morgan said:

We’re delighted Amanda Blanc is joining the ABI Board and look forward to welcoming Clive Bolton and Tara Foley. All three have previously worked closely with the ABI in past roles. Their combined experience and insights will be hugely valuable as we look ahead to the opportunities and challenges for the industry over the coming years.”

Tara Foley, CEO, Axa UK & Ireland said:

As the UK continues to experience extreme uncertainty, it’s never been more important for the insurance industry to work together and provide the resilience and protection to help people overcome the challenges they face. I am honoured to join the ABI Board and I look forward to collaborating with fellow Board members to address key industry issues and develop new opportunities that benefit both insurers and customers alike.”
