Charlotte Wightwick

Assistant Director, Head of Conduct Regulation

Charlotte Wightwick is the Assistant Director, Head of Conduct Regulation.

She joined ABI in 2022 from The Pensions Regulator where she was Policy Business Lead responsible for Value for Money, Automatic Enrolment, ESG/Climate Change and a member of the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Committee. Prior to that she was TPR’s lead on the Pension Schemes Act 2021 and was responsible for EU/International Policy.

Before joining TPR in 2018 Charlotte was a civil servant at the Department for Work and Pensions for nearly 18 years where she held a number of senior policy roles in private pensions, welfare to work and benefits design. She also worked as an operational Group Manager responsible for national and regional benefits delivery and as Private Secretary to the Secretary of State. Charlotte has a degree in history from Oxford University.
