The ABI’s 2023 Fraud Conference will focus on how the insurance sector can work with the Government to engender a truly public-private partnership approach to combatting fraud that fully supports the sector in protecting honest customers from increasingly sophisticated and mobile fraudsters.

It will address how the Government is developing its approach to tackling fraud and economic crime, including to improve online safety to protect vulnerable customers against financial scams; how the sector can work with regulators to disrupt professional enablers; how the industry’s counter fraud and data strategy will evolve to stay ahead of the fraudsters; and what learnings can be taken from other sectors to enable insurers to better support the innocent victims of fraud.
