Lucy Fraser

Lucy Fraser is a Policy Advisor and member of General Insurance Team and has a PhD in Engineering from UCL.

She is responsible for London Market facing insurance lines such as Cyber and Trade Credit Insurance. Lucy also oversees Clinical Negligence and Medical Malpractice; Contingency Insurance/Events Insurance; Pet Insurance; Professional Indemnity; Terrorism and additional areas including Surety, Schools Insurance RPA and Gadgets.

Lucy joined the ABI in 2021 from the City of London Corporation, where she was responsible for providing policy analysis and an advisory function to the financial and professional services sectors, specialising in cyber security and technology innovation. Prior to that she developed policy, governance, and strategy for London’s Green Spaces.  

Lucy obtained her PhD from UCL having studied a joint programme in Computer Science and the Built Environment and graduated from the School of Engineering. Her research included computational analysis, generative architectural design, and applied statistical modelling for commercial sales data in the NHS.
